FAQ
How soon should we book our session?
As soon as you can! ESPECIALLY if you crave an autumn date. Made a promise that I wouldn't overbook myself (people pleaser here!). Doing so, I'm able to give fully to my clients and family. I am often booked out in advance, so make sure to message to snag a spot!
What if my kids don't cooperate and I am super awkward in front of a camera?
We will play games, have piggy back rides, tickle fights and cuddle time :) Put on the kids favorite music and have a dance party in a field! If you're having a good time, you will always look radiant and I will document your family in this authentic way. If you throw expectations out the window, then we will for sure create some magic!
Where are you based and do you travel?
Home base for me is Perry, Missouri but I often use Mark Twain Lake for a beautiful backdrop! Message me if you have a specific location in mind that would make your photos even more special to you!
When and how will I get my photos?
Life is all about balance or more/less juggling! Having three children at home, I try and create memories with them as well as capturing yours. Turnaround time is 2 weeks! Busy seasons, you can expect a longer waiting period due to volume of sessions. Wedding photos are explained in the contract. All galleries are delivered through a secure and private link and sent straight to your email with a copyright release!
What should we wear?
I will help you with everything styling wise! With my authentic editing style, neutral and earthy tones work best. . I also have items in my client wardrobe which is for women and children up to size 8. Also I will send you a style guide and mood boards that will for sure compliment you and your fam!
Will we get a sneak peek?
No. I know, I KNOW.. Waiting is one of the HARDEST things to do but I promise you that when I made this switch, I'm able to deliver galleries MUCH faster and able to focus on each individual gallery with my full attention. When I used to do sneak peeks, I would cull the same night as I took them. Pick a few to edit, while pushing everyone else's gallery to the side that has been waiting. Which didn't seem fair. Now I edit as I take them.
As we all know, good things are worth waiting for. :)
